Sandy Kaur is an award-winning suicide prevention and mental health expert, specialising in supporting Punjabi and South Asian communities. As the founder of Sehhat, she works to bridge gaps in access through culturally relevant training, resources, and community-led initiatives.

Over the past 10 years, Sandy has supported over 5,000 individuals through workshops, keynote speaking, and one-to-one engagement, collaborating with organisations including Hidden Disabilities and the National Suicide Prevention Alliance.

She is a qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, co-author of Mental Health Ki Hundi Hai, and creator of the Sikh Forgiveness Podcast, reaching a global audience.Sandy’s work has been recognised with national awards, including the UK Prime Minister’s Points of Light Award and Good Morning Britain’s One Million Award.Through consultancy, training, and advocacy, she helps organisations build culturally competent, inclusive approaches to mental health and suicide prevention.

As a keynote speaker, researcher, and advocate, Sandy has dedicated her career to breaking down the barriers that prevent people from seeking help. The approach combines evidence-based research with compassionate storytelling to create meaningful change in how we approach suicide prevention and mental health in diverse communities.
